No shades of Grey

No shades of grey, focused on expelling the ambiguities that beguile the Christian millennial. The interactive sessions aimed to dispel any myths and confusions that were passed down from traditions and cultures.

The session was directed at relationships with the opposite sex and how wholesome, honest relationships can organically form; within the Christian community and in our secular society. The discussions were facilitated by two vibrant and well informed young adults. By well informed, we mean individuals that took time out to fast, pray and study what matters most to God our Father when we talk of a wholesome Christian relationship.

We discussed grey areas when it comes to dating and courtship scenarios. Even to the point of getting enthusiastic contributions from the audience.

Essentially, no shades of grey took a spin on love from a biblical perspective. The sessions showed Christ and his perfect love for each human being; the standard for human fellowship and love – whether it is love with the opposite sex, your family, neighbours and humanity. We discussed grey areas when it comes to dating and courtship scenarios. Even to the point of getting enthusiastic contributions from the audience. Everyone wanted the answer to the age old question of “the one”. That special individual ordained for you to marry. You would have to watch or listen to the recordings to get the full break down.

As the sessions advanced, the scriptures were broken down to expose the triune nature of God (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit) who work harmoniously with purpose and vision. Further examples from scripture exposed the original intent for man and woman, as the bible teaches and not on the basis of culture, tradition or a human’s selfish desires, wants, and demands. Overall, the grey areas were tackled and the attendees to this KYAM session left wanting more. Will there be a Part 2? That’s not decided, but we highly recommend contacting the KICC church office for a copy or recording of the sessions. Watch this space!
